Happy Tuesday!!!!

It's Week 20 of our Dare to BE Happy Challenge

Last week we focused on Joy in Crisis My AHA was: Honor my feelings that the crisis brings forward while allowing myself to be tapped into my natural state of joy to be present and make good choices.

This week we are focusing on Building Your Hope Skills:
  • Complete the contentment assessment
  • What is hope?
  • What motivates you?
  • What ways can you help motivate others?
  • Using the GRACCE Process
  • Create unconditional loving inner dialog
“Everything that is done in the world is done by hope.”   ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

**Judith found a quote that we embrace with the tragic news of our dear Robin Williams, actor, stand-up comedian, voice actor, film producer and screenwriter.

"It is devastating to fathom, Robin losing hope."
~ Bonnie Hunt, actress, comedian, writer, director, television producer, and daytime television host

WEEK Twenty - Aug 12, 2014
April 1 through August 26, 2014
Amy Frost and Judith Pinkerton

Process for Dare To BE Happy Challenge:
  • Read weekly blog posted here on Tues a.m.
  • Experience the topic circle during the week in Las Vegas at the Music 4 Life® Health Club.
  • If you can't attend the How to Build Your Hope Skills Las Vegas circle, the telephone call "Tele-Circle" is weekly on Tuesdays 6-6:30pm PT (712) 432-1212  code 676-773-827.
  • If you missed the Tuesday Tele-Circle, go to this link to listen to this week's recording for How to Build Your Hope Skills.
  • Music Medicine: Building Hope can be supported with listening regularly to Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up” song. Desiring hope is sometimes derailed by negative experiences during the day. If you find after listening to “You Raise Me Up” that you sink back into negative thinking or feelings, then the music medicine Mood Sequence Formula is recommended. Music 4 Life’s MEE Concert CD and Stress Brake CD are Mood Sequence Formulas to shift in as little as 15 minutes. (purchase the CDs at Music 4 Life® - call 702-889-2881 to order)

THE PROBLEM: if this music does not do it for you, find out about your music listening habits watching the TEDxUNLV Talk "Music Powers Potential: Building Mental Fitness.” Download the Music Medicine Boot Camp (at www.MentalFitness.Music4Life.us) to learn how to apply your music listening habits differently to build your skill in being hope-filled. Learn how to re-organize your music into healing playlists and add new music to apply Mood Sequence Formulas™ -- support your ability to shift mood and focus quickly.
    • Do your weekly homework printing out the handout below.
    • Share tweets M/W/F @msamyfrost
    • Share Facebook postings AmyFrost
This Day/Week’s topic in Music 4 Life® Circles is Building Your Hope Skills on Tuesday Aug 12 at 4pm, Wednesday Aug 13 at 8am and Friday Aug 15 at noon.
